CRM provider offers hosted application for WM firms

Salentica says web-based Advisor Desk cuts capital costs and deployment time. CRM software maker Salentica Systems has launched a hosted version of its Advisor Desk for wealth-management firms.
"This is an attractive solution for wealth management firms that want to move quickly or do not have the available IT resources to manage the server environment," says Salentica's president Bill Rourke. "Our clients can be up and running quickly with functionality specific to their needs, without any upfront capital investment."

Salentica extended its broad-based CRM offering -- which is built around Microsoft's CRM platform -- to the wealth-management space about a year ago through a partnership with Bronxville, N.Y.-based InfoGrate's iWealth division. The hosted version of Advisor Desk gives customers a lower cost of entry, reduced risk, and the advantage of speedy deployment, according to Salentica.
The web-based version of Salentica's Advisor Desk "demonstrates the real value that hosted offerings of CRM solutions can provide to customers," says Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. "With Salentica's domain expertise and experience working with wealth-management firms, this new offering will provide more choice to customers looking for a CRM solution tailored to their needs."
Toronto-based Salentica says it provides CRM solutions to more than 60 companies worldwide. -FWR
